MET-KUT 746 is a chlorine free cutting oil designed for severe metal removal operations. Its unique blend of non-traditional lubricity and extreme pressure additives perform exceptionally well over a broad range of metal removal operations: drilling, grinding, tapping, turning, reaming, and threading. Excellent oil for Curvic grinding operations. Although MET-KUT 746 was designed for ferrous materials, it also performs well on aluminum. Because MET-KUT 746 contains active sulfur it should not be used for the machining of copper or its alloys. Note: This product is NOT compatible with Babbitt bearing surfaces.
